# CHG-02 change-scoped characterization reproduction

This deterministic fixture demonstrates the argument in “A Characterization
Suite Is Scoped to a Change.”

It contains:

- a synthetic booking boundary;
- ordinary-success and test-mode characterization cases;
- distinct raw and normalized diagnostic records;
- a broken refactor which collapses those representations;
- a focused persistence assertion which detects the collapse; and
- a separate structural check for ambient request access.

Run:

All inputs, names, behavior, and source strings are synthetic. The fixture does
not reproduce a private endpoint, provider, application, or production result.
